Passenger Commercial is an integral part of non-aeronautical revenue for the airport which sustains essential operations and supports the community that lives and works on Sea Island.

**Position overview**

As the **Concession Account Representative**, you will lead and support YVR’s efforts in delivering a memorable commercial experience by working closely with current business partners and internal stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that ensure revenue growth and contribute to an enhanced passenger experience. Applicants with a passion for working in a fast pace and ever-changing environment, working directly with commercial partners to facilitate operational and non-operational matters, proficient at multitasking and the ability to work independently.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Fostering and developing positive working relationships with our commercial partners that support the success of their business and an elevated passenger experience
- Overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of YVR’s retail, duty free, hotel, food and beverage, commercial lounges, and vending machine programs
- Performing daily audits of food and beverage units, commercial lounges and vending machines throughout the terminal
- Ensuring high operating standards are implemented, maintained and improved
- Monitoring and benchmarking commercial performance against other airports’ performance and other industries
- Share responsibility for 7 day coverage for commercial management services with key members of the team

**Key qualifications include**:

- Five years of recent, related experience in food and beverage (including some restaurant management experience) and/or hospitality services, supplemented by a minimum of a two-year post-secondary certificate in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Operations, Business Administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- FOODSAFE certification; World Host training is an asset
- Demonstrated experience in tenant relations; experience in an airport setting an asset
- Strong background in sales, especially with key accounts or large volume accounts with an ability to drive increases in sales
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Customer service driven with a passion for culinary and hospitality
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly creative and innovative problem-solving abilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build an internal network for support
- Good business acumen with a proven track record in the coordination and completion of multiple tasks and projects
