MacEwan University is seeking two individuals for a full-time continuing opportunity as Information and Registration Assistant with the Office of the University Registrar.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Communicating with all visitors or contacts in a pleasant, professional, concise, and consistent manner, maintaining a friendly and approachable customer service atmosphere at the OUR.
- Serving students throughout the full student life cycle, helping them navigate the University systems/processes and empowering them to use services and resources that are available to them.
- Liaising with colleagues within the OUR and other service areas throughout the university to support students in navigating the institution.
- Using the front-line virtual queuing system to track and manage in-person transactions.
- Using the student information system and electronic student file, complete data entry and processing for fee assessments and payments, transcript requests, registration transactions, and student personal information changes.
- Reviewing student accounts and enrollment history to troubleshoot issues with student records or registration. Coordinating with the Functional Analyst as needed to understand issue and resolve. Guiding students on the next steps.
- Maintaining professional and orderly appearance of front counter including signage, monitors, brochures, and forms.
- Responsible for front counter open and closure duties.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of a Post-secondary diploma with a focus in records/data management, administration, or customer service.
- A minimum of one year of customer service or administrative support experience.
- Experience working in a Registrar’s Office and knowledge of online registration systems would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of People Soft Campus Solutions or another Student Information System is an asset.
- Equivalences may be considered.
