We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Communications Manager in Regina, SK.

**Position profile**:
The Corporate Communications Manager is a member of the senior management team who leads organization-wide communications in development and implementation of all internal and external communication strategies to ensure unified, consistent and positive messaging promoting corporate identity and mission.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- **Strategic Communication**: Develops and implements all aspects of the corporate communications strategy. Creates and assists in the development of and executes the corporate strategy working with key stakeholders to develop and incorporate all aspects of the Co-operative’s communications wit h a goal of strengthening Access’ presence in the marketplace.
- **External Communications**: Responsible to produce all external corporate communications, including newsletters, annual reports, community reports, Children’s Fund report, speaking engagements, corporate videos, corporate events with the goal of bridging Access with the outside world. Overseas all communication platforms. Including digital, radio, print, etc. Develops and executes communication strategies for each platform. Develops and monitors social media communications to maintain corporate brand and reputation.
- **Internal Communications**: Responsible for leading all internal communications, ensuring the efficient flow of relevant information between departments and to ensure employees of Access are kept informed and motivated. Responsible for selecting and managing internal communication platforms including the internal website. Produce employee communications such as weekly employee newsletters, FAQ’s, front line communications, calendar of events and ownership of the internal website content. Creates and implements an internal communications plan that builds employee engagement and increases awareness of engagement events, volunteer program, safety and green initiatives.
- **Board Communications and Strategic Planning**: A strategic advisor and coordinator who assists the CEO by serving as the direct liaison with Access’ Board of Directors, including preparation of documents, analysis and presentations for Board meetings. Working closely with the CEO and Executive management in the strategic planning process; assist in the preparation of the business plan, conducting SWOT and PEST analysis, responsible for overseeing the coordination of departmental planning sessions.
- **Member Relations**: Responsible for overseeing the administration of the members database and development of member recruitment and retention strategies. Working closely with the CEO, preparation of biannual district meetings materials and video, development of quarterly member newsletter, annual general meeting materials and video and to prepare materials for the Member Relations Committee, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
- **Media Relations**: Develop and manage the implementation of Access’s media relations strategy including the development of strategic media relationships, news releases, backgrounders, key messaging, social media profile, and ongoing media scans as well as material that can be used to assist in communicating messages and positions to support communication efforts. Responsible for monitoring trends in the media and social media, reviewing and revising material for all media events, media interviews and news releases. Presents at and/or prepares senior management for public engagement speaking events and media interviews. Serves as a spokesperson for Access on key issues.
- **Government Relations**: Works with the Senior Manager, Community Engagement and CEO to develop communication pieces relating to Access’s government relations strategies. Responsible for outreach and advocacy efforts including preparing and disseminating communications, monitoring legislative developments, and liaising with government officials.
