Information Services Corporation (ISC) is hiring a Communications & Community Investment Associate on a permanent, full-time basis.

What you'll do:
Reporting to the Communications & Community Investment Manager, this position will work collaboratively to support business unit activities across Canada and Dublin as they relate to employee communications, engagement and community investment.

The Associate will play an integral role in connecting with community leaders and organizations on behalf of ISC. You will provide support to the daily functions of sponsorship, donation and promotional management and the overall community investment activities of ISC. This work will include processing and monitoring the impacts of ISC’s sponsorships and donations, serving as a point of contact for the ISC Community Giving Program, attending community events, managing the Community Investment inbox, and more as needed.

Major Activities:
Community Investment and Sponsorship
- Supporting new and ongoing community partnerships including coordinating special events and employee volunteer opportunities.
- Collaborating with colleagues across Canada and Dublin to ensure consistency across community investment initiatives.
- Tracking community investments and invoices to remain within ISC’s annual budget.
- Measuring and reporting on the impacts of ISC’s community investments.
- Writing content for Corporate Social Responsibility reports.

Internal Corporate Communications
- Producing posters, ads, reports and other creative materials.
- Working with the Manager and senior leaders to plan and execute corporate programs and events.
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives in partnership with Human Resources.
- Collaborating with External Communications to develop mutually beneficial communications packages.

Communication Plans
- Collaborating with the Manager in the development and implementation of annual and quarterly communication plans.
- Researching and recommending communication opportunities to support corporate initiatives, with the opportunity to present alternative options.

Knowledge:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in communications, journalism or business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum 1-2 years of related work experience
- Experience planning and networking at events with solid organization and multitasking skills

Skills Description:

- Ability to deliver written and oral communications in a professional and engaging manner
- Interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate and build solid relationships
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs; experience with graphic design programs an asset
- Exceptional organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize projects
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on commitments
- Makes decisions independently and uses strong judgement when situations fall outside of established policies and guidelines
- Mindfulness of ISC’s reputation, employee engagement and customer experience when planning and executing communication initiatives
