**Help Desk Supervisor - Regional Administration**

**Discovery Community College **currently has an opening in our Surrey campus for a dynamic individual to join our team in a regional administrative role.

**This position will be full time on the below schedule**:

- Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (1 hour lunch) (some flexibility for later evenings and weekends will be required)

The wage for this position is $48,000 to $52,000.

**The duties required for this position includes, but not limited to**:

- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- **Confidentiality**: Handling sensitive matters with the utmost confidentiality and trustworthiness.
- **Interpersonal Communication**:Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide superior client service.
- **Adaptability**:Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- **Multitasking**: Strong multitasking skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- **Switchboard Operation**: Managing a multi-line switchboard, including directing incoming calls and making outbound calls.

**Additionally, general responsibilities for a College Admin Supervisor might include**:

- **Overseeing Administrative Operations**:Managing day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
- **Staff Management**:Supervising administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- **Process Improvement**:Developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- **Compliance**:Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- **Coordination**:Coordinating with other departments to complete projects on time and within budget.

This position will serve as the representative to be the Friendly Face and Voice for our students. As the first point of contact, you will provide essential information, directions, and support to students. Your friendly demeanor and helpful attitude will ensure that every student feels valued and assisted.
