**The Opportunity**:
We are changing the way people buy and service cars one dealership at a time. In business for over 30 years, PBS is the third largest DMS (Dealership Management System) provider to the North American retail automotive industry. Each month we welcome hundreds of new users to our software platform, and we need your help.
We are unique in the industry because we view our customers as business partners, technology innovators, and friends. Our software can run all aspects of an automotive dealership with sales, service, inventory management, and accounting modules.
And that is where you come into the picture. While specific roles are posted, PBS is always open to pivoting with quality people and adding to the team based on your skills and the needs of our customers. After you join the team, we will continue the process of moving you into new roles based on your talents, growth, and interests.
**The role**:
The Sales Representative will be a remote based role, responsible for fostering long-term relationships with various stakeholders within your accounts, providing excellent customer service, and promoting and selling the APS product line. You will be responsible to manage your sales territory, reaching out to customers promoting and selling the power of the APS Enhanced Maintenance Guide, Online Scheduler and Service Contract solutions. We require a dynamic salesperson who has exceptional communication skills and can engage with our customers. You will need to be able to understand our customers current environment and be able to effectively communicate how our tools can address their specific challenges.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create, promote and maintain excellent client relationships with new customers
- Develop, prepare, and execute formal presentations that are tailored to meet our potential/existing customers' needs.
- Conduct remote presentations and demos as needed
- Understand and identify customers challenges and communicate how our product line addresses their challenges
- Researching and analyzing your territory’s sales potential, and determining the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization
- Generate a strong sales portfolio to attain sales targets and goals
- Ensure consistent hunting/ prospecting to net new businesses by leveraging best-practice strategies in order to exceed individual sales quota.
- Proficiency in the ability to move customers through your sales pipeline
- Update and maintain a CRM database as you move customers through the sales funnel
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time, up to two weeks month throughout Canada and the USA
- Visits customers to develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education, degree, or diploma
- Strong technical aptitude is required
- Previous experience and the demonstration of success in a Business Development role is required
- Previous experience in the Automotive Industry especially within Fixed operations coupled with knowledge and use of DMS products is also an excellent asset
- Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office Suite, video conference tools and previous CRM experience is an asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license and Passport
- Excellent Problem Solver with the ability to think on your feet
- A self-starter who can work independently who is a quick learner and who can consistently follow through on tasks
