Job Summary

We are hiring students to join our Finance-Billing Administration Team As a Co-op Student, you will improve your skills and gain valuable work experience in your area of study by working with outstanding professionals and learning about NAV CANADA and Canada’s Air Navigation Service.

The Billing Administration - Co-op Student will work closely with the Billing Team to ensure that invoices and financial transactions are processed accurately and timely.
**Job Description**:
This role involves
- Working closely with customers, the flight data department, customer service, and accounts receivable to resolve billing issues and provide exceptional customer service.
- strong attention to detail,
- problem-solving skills, and
- excellent communication and customer service skills.
Programs and Level:
- Working towards a degree / diploma in business, accounting, finance or related field would be preferred, but not mandatory
Knowledge & Abilities
- Knowledge of billing and invoicing procedures
- Knowledge with accounting software and databases
- Familiarity with common billing and invoicing terminology
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to take initiative and self-direct to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicating effectively both orally and in writing with customers and other departments
- Ability to perform verification of tasks
- Ability to maintain discretion.
Experience
- Experience in customer service is an asset

The work is performed during weekdays in an office environment at our Head Office in Ottawa within a team of experienced Billing team members.
