**About the Role**:
Are you a quick learner who is interested in working in the broadcast industry?
Corus Entertainment Vancouver is looking for an Executive Assistant to join our dynamic Local Revenue team. This full-time position will report to the Director, Local Sales, BC and will be based in Burnaby, BC. You will be working with Directors and Regional Managers to ensure the Sales Department runs smoothly. **You’ll be working on things like**:

- Supporting the Director of Local Sales, Director of Local Tempo, and Regional Managers.
- Acting independently with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, judgment, and discretion with a keenness to learn the business and understand our operations.
- Ability to identify and raise key priorities to management’s attention in a timely manner.
- Maintaining calendars, including scheduling and/or rescheduling appointments with a focus on pro-active and strategic time management for management.
- Liaising with the Executive Team, direct reports, and other team members to provide integrated support; identify opportunities for improvements and adjust priorities as required while keeping the executive apprised of deadlines and action items.
- Event planning for Clients and Staff Engagement (including venue selection, catering, budget, promotional giveaways, invitations, travel, booking guest speakers, logistics)
- Managing client master list
- Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
- Maintaining files, providing relevant material prior to all meetings, and ensuring documents for signature are processed in a timely manner.
- Administering various financial functions (e.g., Sales contra, invoices, expense claims, and ticket distribution)
- Creation, managing, maintaining, and tracking of Sales Team vacation calendar.
- Dayforce assistance to both Director of Sales, Director of Tempo, Sales Manager - Local Sales and Regional Manager of Local Tempo.
- Compensation and Bonus letters for Account Executives and unionized employees.
- Time sheet management for Sales & Tempo Team.
- Creating / updating Sales Department and Local Tempo Organizational Charts (using Visio).
- Reviewing and scheduling of interviews for potential employees.
- Onboarding of new hires (including assisting of new hire forms/adding to various distribution lists/access forms).
- Working with IT for hardware requirements for new hires - including computers and cell phones (if company supplied).
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Local Sales.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with solid editing and proof-reading capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a changing environment and capacity to work well under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple Outlook calendars/mailboxes/contacts.
- Proven ability to exercise confidentiality, tact, and discretion across various stakeholder groups.
- Financial knowledge with the ability to prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Team player that enjoys collaboration and has a willingness to assist other Executive Assistants during peak periods, as well as providing coverage during absences if necessary.
- Demonstrated administrative support experience at the executive level.
