Montreal Corporate Head Office, where most of their employees are based, offers career opportunities in Design, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and HR as well as in the Production and Warehousing facilities.
OBJECTIVE
Under the leadership of the Total Rewards Manager, the HR & Payroll Coordinator will act as back up and payroll support and will be responsible for managing benefit programs such as group insurance and various retirement programs. He/She will work closely with members of the HR and payroll team on onboarding and benefits to ensure that processes run smoothly.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Act as a "back up" and payroll support in collaboration with the Sr Payroll Administrator
- Process the payroll within the deadlines;
- Ensure that all the criteria of the collective agreement are respected;
- Assist with job offer letters, contracts and integrations via Dayforce;
- Participate in the integration of new employees;
- Write various memos, memos, letters and notices for employees;
- Update of communication tables;
- Filing and updating employee files;
- Coordinate registrations, changes and terminations of benefits and pension plan files
- Ensure data compliance in the HR system and update organizational structures as needed;
- Support in the management of absence files in the event of short and long-term disability and CNESST files;
- Participate and support the human resources team in the implementation and execution of various human resources projects and programs;
- Produce and submit various HR reports;
- Reconciliation of invoices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience in an hourly and salaried environment;
- Payroll specialist title accredited or in the process of being obtained
- Mastery of the Windows environment (Word, Excel and Power point).
- Fluency in French and English (oral and written mandatory).
- Knowledge of Dayforce an asset
- A strong sense of customer service;
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines;
- Proactive, creative approach, great work organization and attention to detail;
- Demonstrates discretion and tact.
