**KWE IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK**
KWE is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk who is focused on delivering a world class customer service experience to our valued customers. **REQUIREMENTS**
- University/College degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
- Hands on experience in an Accounts Payable related role.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret data and graphs to draw conclusions and/or make recommendations to Management.
- Advanced computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity and word processing using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Very strong Excel skills to create and manipulate various spreadsheet, Experience using Oracle E-Business Suite or similar Accounting Software.
- Ability to effectively present competent information and respond to questions from employees, groups of managers and clients professionally.
**DETAILS OF THE JOB**
- Work under AP Lead to complete data entry related to incoming invoices and ensure that company procedures are met.
- Process weekly Quick Cheques and reconcile on daily basis and process Stop Payment Requests as required.
- Assist in all filings of PRF’s, invoices and other related accounting documentation.
- Post and reconcile company payments to general ledgers.
- Review bills, investigate and resolve payment/billing discrepancies.
- Balance daily A/P batches; prepare and distribute payment reports and statistics to key personnel.
- Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners.
- Investigate payment problems while following corporate A/P policies and procedures.
- Provide excellence in customer service and a first place of contact for client inquiries, concerns and complaints.

- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Receive guidance with respect to general objectives in most tasks and projects assigned. Determined methods, work sequence, scheduling, and how to achieve objectives of assignments; operate within specific policy guidelines.
- Provide back up support within department during busy periods, vacations and unexpected employee absences.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.
