**Position: Office Manager and Administrator**
**Reporting to: Gen7 Management**
**Primary Location: Drayton Valley, Alberta, with opportunities for remote working arrangements**
**Job Status: Full-time employee**
- **Generally Monday-Fridays approx. 8 am - 4 pm**
**Compensation**:
- Salary or hourly. Negotiable and competitive. Pay will be commensurate with formal credentials, demonstrated skills, and applicable industry experience;
- Paid holidays: starting at 2 to 4 weeks / year, commensurate with experience;
- Stat holidays: off with pay, unless a negotiated workday for time in lieu;
- Overtime: Employee’s Option of Time in Lieu or Overtime pay (time and a half for all hours over 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week, whichever is higher);

**The Position**:
We are looking for a hard working, ambitious individual to join our team to support our growing company. Regular activities to include:
- Bookkeeping: Payables, Timesheets, Field Tickets and Client Invoicing
- Payroll, Benefits and Expenses
- Personal and Corporate tax Reporting
- Monthly reporting to ownership group and financial institution.
- Year end reporting to accountant.
- Maintaining the Client Project Database
- Office Administration (Schedule, phone reception, office supplies, etc.)
- Future Potential: As a key member of our team in a central position in the office, we are open to discussing ideas and opportunities you identify that would improve our business efficiency and /or product. This could be related to any number of facets of our business such as Human Resources, Budget and Health and Safety.
**Your Experience**:
- 3-5 years experience in an administrative role.
- Experience with accounting system (Sage).
- Knowledge of Open ADP, Cortex or other similar invoicing systems.
- Experience with timesheet and ticket system an asset (FieldCap)
- Flexibility and willingness to work simultaneously on a wide range of tasks and projects.
- Familiarity with the environmental sector.
- Proven ability to work independently while being a team player.
- Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Creative and innovative thinking.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint is required.
**Education**:
- Post-Secondary degree, diploma or certificate in finance, accounting or a related field.
- Professional development programs and online courses/training are considered an asset.
