PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age. PLASP operates programs in more than 240 schools providing before and after school care. PLASP also operates over 32 full-day early learning and child care centres and six EarlyON locations for children from 0 - 6 years.

The Program Administration Associate reports directly to the Manager, Program Administration and Support Services, and assumes a crucial role in supporting the PLASP licensed child care programs in maintaining Ministry of Education compliance and operational efficiency.

**THE POSITION INVOLVES**
- Tracking, sorting and filing completed bi-weekly timsesheets
- Acting as an integral liaison between Managers, other departments and community partners
- Monitoring, organizing, and filing all necessary program documentation
- Responsible for printing and distributing all required information for licensed child care programs
- Preparing agendas and minutes, and coordinating meetings
- Scheduling required program maintenance and / or repairs are scheduled
- Submitting children’s immunization records for licensed child care programs in the Region of Peel
- Completing requisition form requests for licensed child care programs, and providing assistance in placing orders for program supplies
- Maintaining and reviewing the upkeep of all document administration (paper or digital) for licensed child care programs
- Updating and maintaining digital records of approved evacuation site letters and information on blueprints for licensed child care programs
- Compiling and overseeing essential printer files and spreadsheets for licensed child care programs
- Acting as a liaison between the Communications Department and the Program Department for all printing needs
- Providing assistance with additional support tasks as assigned

**THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**
- A Post Secondary Education with a focus on Business is an asset
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
