**What you'll do for CNIB Deafblind Community Services**
Covering a broad range of duties, the Booking Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant performs moderately complex administrative work.
- Schedules and coordinates Intervention Services for Deafblind Individuals.
- Assists the Manager, of Deafblind Community Services with the allocation of resources.
- Performs administrative duties including, but not limited to service tracking, benchmarking, report writing, note-taking, etc.
- Performs administrative duties for the Regional Management Team.
- Prepares correspondence, mailings and filing duties.
- Provides backup coverage for Receptionist.
- Assists to prepare and participate in community and in-house presentations pertaining to Deafblind Services.
- Attends internal and external meetings.
- Other duties as required.
**Requirements**:
**Who you are**
- Fluent in ASL (American Sign Language) skills, two-hand manual, signed English and tactile sign language would be an asset.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office including word processing and experience working in a database environment including queries.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Outlook, Skype, Office Communicator, and Videoconferencing.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, good decision-making and judgement.
- Able to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Mature with a professional attitude, and a solid team player.
- Self-directed, organized, and attentive to detail.
**We want to hear from you if you have**
- In-depth knowledge of implications faced by people who are Deafblind, knowledge of deaf culture.
- Post Secondary Education in Intervention/ Interpreter field, a graduate of a recognized secretarial business college program or equivalent job-related experience.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience. Ability to work flexible hours and openness to travel
- occasional travel may be required.
