**About the Role**:
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Help create a thoughtful and delicious menu
- Ensure quality control, freshness and safe delivery of all food items
- Accommodate customer special needs and requests
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure health regulations are being observed at all times and identify possible areas of concern
- Establish and maintain an inventory system to monitor product usage and stock levels
- Ordering food and related supplies for kitchen
- Follow company policies & procedures
- Work in a team environment and complete other duties and projects, as assigned by the Manager/Owner
**Additional Requirements & Qualifications**:
- Smart Serve Certificate preferred
- Food Handling Certificate required
- 1-2 years experience in the food industry preferred
- Knowledge of craft beer would be an asset
- Knowledge of cooking techniques is required
- Ability to lift and/or move heavy objects up to at least 80 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work courteously and professionally with others
- Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Proactive, self-reliant, motivated, professional and responsible
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
