**Scope of Position**:
Team Leaders are part of the core leadership of our team. Accountable to our leadership team, Team Leaders oversee the operations and staffing needs. It is an active, hands-on leadership role.

There is also an opportunity to be the point person who oversees a team of staff in our catering opportunities throughout the year. We have 3 food trailers that function in different capacities throughout the Niagara Region and SW Ontario.

Realizing our store is a top 10 store in the country with a strong catering component to our sales, responsibilities include:

- Prepare our core products daily (ice cream production, cones, baking of goods)
- Collaborate with the owners of the store and catering operations.
- Organize and lead the day-to-day operation of the store while supporting staff.
- Demonstrate superior customer service, serving as a role model for the team in problem solving and handling our customer.
- Be competent and efficient in all areas of the store operation, while still maintaining service, product quality, and hygiene standards.
- Manage the inventory of all products in the store to ensure a full selection of ice cream flavours, mixins, and packaging are available for sale or use at all times - while maintaining or exceeding expectations for production/inventory cost targets.
- Be accountable for all the assets of the business including cash, non-cash tender, gift cards, inventory, equipment, etc., while maintaining or exceeding expectations for cash loss targets.
- Maintain a structured cleaning and maintenance program for the store that includes all areas of housekeeping and equipment maintenance on a required basis.
- Follow employment and Health & Safety standards provided by our governing bodies.

To succeed in the above, our Team Leads will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills that include:

- Consistently strong interpersonal and communication communication skills in English.
- Ability to excel and encourage others to be efficient in time management
- Take ownership for their store resources, both physical assets and people
- Model honesty, integrity, and respect
- Problem solve and critically think through challenging situations
- Ability to follow leadership, collaborate with others and lead by example

Assets:

- Previous leadership experience in the quick serve sector in Canada, especially leading an inexperienced team
- Proven ability to work in a team setting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Internship / Co-op

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
