START DATE: Start date of September 15th, 2023

CLASSIFICATION: Under the direction of the Directors and Executive Director, this role has responsibility for operational leadership and overall guidance of the Outreach, Contract and Employment programs. Key aspects of this role include the development and implementation of process guidelines, service monitoring and evaluation, service delivery coordination and intervention, budget administration and management and community liaison.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Lead and participate in the development of operational and service delivery plans and budgets in accordance with SASH’s strategic mandate and priorities.
- Ensure service evaluation criteria are developed and communicated effectively, and that services are monitored, evaluated and managed in a manner that optimizes opportunities for the individuals being served.
- Provide leadership and support to team supervisors, direct service staff and administrative staff to facilitate effective staff deployment and service delivery.
- Establish and maintain a resource network that may be accessed to support and enhance service development and delivery, and to enhance the profile and acceptance of SASH and the profession within the community.
- Promote and advocate on behalf of the agency, agency services, the direct/service support resource team and individuals supported. This may include issue and conflict management/resolution between and among agency staff, as well as between the organization and other service providers, funders, families/guardians/, and other community and government stakeholders.
- Attends all monthly coordinator and team meetings and staff meetings.
- Responsible for overseeing that the SASH service delivery system is implemented.
- Ensures the development of goals with the clients in accordance with SASH’s service delivery system.
- Responsible for reporting and recording monthly units for invoicing purposes.
- Schedule and attend ISP meetings as required.
- Identifies and analyzes issues of concern, assesses the needed intervention, and finds resources to address the issue.
- To develop and assist with the implementation of programs when necessary (restrictive procedures, positive planned approach).
- Communicate in a professional, timely, accurate and respectful manner with individuals, families, guardians, staff and community representatives.
- Maintains professional currency in the community rehabilitation field.
- Performs other duties as requested by the Executive Director and/or Directors.

HOURS OF WORK**:Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm; flexibility and participation in the On Call rotation required.**

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Two year diploma/degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive managerial experience in the Disability Sector.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check including the Vulnerable Sector.
- Abuse Prevention & Response Protocol.
- Individual Rights training.
- Standard First Aid and CPR.
- Other related training as necessary.

SALARY: $33.00 per hour based on education and experience.
