We are looking for a self-motivated **Warranty and Customer Service Technician **to join our dynamic Edmonton team in a permanent, full-time capacity. Together we provide homeowners with the ultimate personalized home buying experience.

**What You’ll Do**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warranty and Customer Service Technician role is accountable for a range of construction and people responsibilities:
**The Knowledge**
- Responsible for ensuring the customer and trade experience with Parkwood is the best
- Attending to customer required appointments throughout the build, including but not limited to the annual check-up and trade days.
- Provide guidance and information directly to customers regarding the operation, maintenance and care of their new home
- Oversee and participate in the post-possession services and warrantable repairs
- Build a reliable trade council that can be relied upon to help solve and consult on warrantable repairs
- To be able to identify re-occurring warranty items and provide fast solutions to the entire team
- Ensure that Parkwood’s CORE Certified safety standards are maintained at all times
- Effective technology use to document in detail communications, fixes and purchase orders
- A detailed understanding of how a house performs from construction to finished product

**The Person**
- We are looking for someone who has the ability to work backwards on how a house should be made
- Someone that has that hands on experience and wants to get involved
- Willingness to learn and become proficient in “The Parkwood Way”
- Physical ability to fulfill responsibilities including 90% field work (Site Visits) that require light to high physical exertion, and 10% office work that requires light physical exertion
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to details
- Self-motivated and hardworking individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, and take initiative, as well as work within a team environment and actively participate in team meetings
- Maintain and promote the professional image of Parkwood Master Builder by providing a high calibre of positive customer service

**The Prerequisites**
- A clean criminal record
- A driver’s transcript with a clean driving record
- A mind for safety first
- A curiosity for problem solving

Company vehicle, gas card, cell phone and iPad will be provided.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
