Festival Hydro is a distribution company serving 22,000 customers in seven municipalities in Stratford and surrounding areas. We are a progressive utility looking for an incumbent that supports our ongoing commitment to customer and operational excellence.

The Executive Assistant, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the President and CEO, and administrative support to the Executive Team. This is a full-time position and includes a competitive benefits package and pension.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Serve as a liaison between the President and CEO and various internal and external stakeholders
- Respond to inquiries on behalf of the President and CEO, including those of a highly confidential and critical nature; prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response
- Maintain the calendar of the President and CEO and schedule appointments based on priority of issues and events
- Responsible for organizing and assisting with all internal and external corporate communications and records management
- Provide direct administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer
- Provide administrative assistance to other Executive Team members as required
- Complete special projects that may come up from time to time
- Arrange and prepare for meetings, events, and trips including travel reservations, audio and visual requirements, meals and beverages, reading materials, and promotional items
- Ensure the corporate governance framework is properly designed, implemented, and maintained, and Board policies are reviewed and updated as required
- Schedule Board and Committee meetings, assist in agenda development, assist in developing and distributing all committee and Board minutes and reports
- Other duties as required

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Ontario College Diploma in Office Administration, Executive Assistant, or another equivalent program
- Minimum three years of experience in an administrative role
- Exposure and experience in the electricity industry is a valued asset
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other analytical software, and experience related to teleconferencing and videoconferencing
- Proficiency with Board Management software considered an asset
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong business writing, documentation and record keeping skills
- Formalized writing experience, including Board of Director meeting minutes, and regulated industry writing experience such as submissions to the Ontario Energy Board
- Advanced organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Project management skillset considered a definite asset
- Experience booking events, and organizing meals and other details for successful event execution
- Ability to assist or lead the implementation of a document management system for the organization
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Advanced ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Strong problem solving and effective decision-making skills
- Ability to work on site in an office environment every day
