Production Coordinator

**Essential position Functions**:

- E-receive orders and convert to production orders to be produced in Winnipeg.
- Support new item set up for facility as needed to support customer needs while scrutinizing these requests to make sure the new requests are realistic, and we can meet timing.
- Understand garment/product construction to be able to support setting up bill of material with changes needed for custom product orders.
- Distribute cut orders to production floor denoting any special requirements or expedited timing for the orders.
- Expedite material, components, outside embellishment requirements, etc. as needed to service production needs.
- Confers with production supervisor to determine progress of work and to provide information to account reps as requested.
- Liaison between account rep/ sales rep for all new orders
- Respond to and process all add-on requests and changes received from account reps/sales.
- Work with product development team as needed to facilitate information for new products being introduced to the production floor.
- Evaluate orders for needs and timing and work with customer service as needed to make sure we can support the request. This includes working with customer service team as needed to work through timing concerns, identifying raw material needs and requesting/detailing needs to purchasing as to when materials are needed to support timing of production to meet customer delivery, work with production supervisor to help manage priorities on the production floor as orders are received so we can successfully delivery orders in hand as well as new orders.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in same or similar position
- Clothing and têxtile background preferred.
- Standing, bending, lifting and working in the warehouse and sample room.
