**Benefits Administrator (**Maternity Leave** Contract)**

Reporting to the Benefits Manager, the Benefits Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Benefits team through efficient execution of day-to-day activities and projects. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

**As a Benefits Administrator You Will**:

- Administer the group benefits and pension program in accordance with the plan design and established procedures, including new hires, enrollment, termination, retirements, and other life events.
- Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, pension, and claims in a timely and effective manner.
- Support the Benefits Manager and administer group benefits and pension program, ensure the accuracy of benefits and pension enrollments and deductions in the HRIS system. Maintain ongoing relationships with external consultants and continue to build a healthy working relationship.
- Support the internal communications regarding group benefits and pension program, including creating employee communications, monitoring the communications calendar, and drafting content as required.
- Maintain and update benefit and pension information on SharePoint.
- Assist in the administration of disability and Maternity/Parental leaves.
- Assist in the processing of invoices related to benefit programs.
- Organize and facilitate quarterly Pension Committee meetings, recording and distributing approved meeting minutes.

**As a Benefits **Administr**ator You Will Bring**:

- 1-3 years of experience in Benefits and Pension administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise confidentiality; show tact, diplomacy and discretion in handling information of confidential and/or sensitive nature.
- Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with all personalities in a positive and collaborative manner fostering relationships with the broader HR team as well as other key teams in the organization

- The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $50,000 to $65,000._
- The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity._
