**About the role**
This selection process is closed to employees of a Parliamentary Institution. Our Parliamentary partners are: The Library of
Parliament, the Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner, the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer, the
Parliamentary Protective Service and the Senate of Canada.
As a key member of the Clerk’s senior executive team (along with the Deputy Clerk, Administration and the Law Clerk), the Deputy
Clerk, Procedural Services contributes to developing and executing the organization’s vision and Strategic Plan and provides

**What you need**
**Education** University degree from a recognized institution in a related field.
- Extensive experience in a senior management role and executive leadership in a parliamentary
institution;
- Extensive experience in working as a Table Officer and in providing advice on parliamentary practice
and procedure;
- Extensive experience in providing management direction and guiding strategic planning for procedural
and legislative services delivery;

- Extensive experience in providing counsel and advice to senior executives, managing issues and
complaints, facilitating problem solving, and negotiating solutions and approaches to sensitive and

manner;
