**Your Opportunity**:
The ACCESS Open Minds (AOM) site within the Edmonton Zone Young Adult Services (YAS) portfolio is looking for a warm, welcoming and energetic Administrative Support III (AD-3). From a recovery-oriented, asset-based perspective, the AD-3 works as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team to provide administrative support to the physicians, clinicians, clients and caregivers who provide support to youth and young adults (16-25). One primary task is providing front desk coverage. You will often be the first point of contact and are required to organize and support the client flow for the clinic. Your role is important in ensuring efficient and effective operation of the site. Tasks may include prioritizing and coordinating daily schedules, reviewing requests, scheduling clinical appointments, attending meetings, taking minutes, greeting clients, and answering telephone calls. In addition, the AD-3 will support the AOM walk-in counselling programs as well as YAS Social, Recreation, and Wellness programming. Additional duties include processing referrals, coordinating intake meetings with clients and team members, and creating and maintaining appropriate documentation in the electronic medical record. Welcoming and engaging interactions with clients, families and external stakeholders on the phone and in person are instrumental responsibilities. Key behaviors and skills required are: multitasking, time management, organization, critical thinking, initiative and problem solving. This is a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. An understanding of the purpose and goals of the Young Adult Services team and the ability to bring ideas forward are important. Familiarity with FOIP and the Health Information Act are important aspects to the role.
