SUMMARY:
Manage the daily operations of the Urban Oasis Mineral Spa (Retail, Reservations, & Spa Services), payroll, inventory, training, and scheduling

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contributes to achieving the key results areas required for each service, including monthly targets
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor
- Optimizes spa bookings; managing timing, schedules and assignment of treatment rooms
- Monitors service quality, addressing guest concerns where necessary
- Contributes towards a respectful workplace conducive to high performance and positive cultural spirit
- Conducts orientations of new colleagues and on-the-job training
- Provides feedback directly to associates and contributes to the annual evaluations
- Organizes and coordinates the work schedule
- Prepares reporting of daily revenues and cash counts
- Prepares weekly payroll and timekeeping reports
- Tracks marketing initiatives and recommends monthly promotions
- Completes departmental inventory controls and counts
- Controls purchasing of Retail and Professional products, monitoring inventory and price trends
- Conducts daily inspections of spa facilities; treatment rooms, change rooms, pool
- Understands and administers policies and procedures as well as prevailing legislation
- Facilitates inter-department communication with weekly updates
- Schedule will include working evenings and weekends
- Other duties as reasonably required

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong leadership skills, demonstrated with at least one year of industry experience
- Licensed Esthetician or RMT
- Proven excellence in customer service
- Demonstrable interest in the spa industry
- Experience of administration in a cost-controlled environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work with mínimal supervision, making decisions and managing deadlines
- Knowledge of spa products and services
- Computer literacy required
- Business administration certificate or equivalent would be an asset

**Experience**:
massage therapy: 2 years (preferred)

Guest services: 3 years (required)

Spa services: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
Massage Therapist Certification (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
