**Job Summary**:
The primary function of the Marketing Manager is to provide overall operational direction for the Marketing Department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the development and management of a strategic marketing business plans and annual budgets
- Responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive and creative marketing campaign supporting branding themes, and bringing customers awareness of The Big Carrot's foundational pillars; managing the reporting and measurement of campaign results and opportunities
- Manages the development and production of all marketing materials from bags, company attire, signage of all types, standards, pamphlets, and promotional materials.
- Manages the evaluation and exploration of new marketing ideas, concepts, and partners/cross promotions building new opportunities, database growth, opportunities and brand awareness.
- Responsible for departmental staff recruitment and dismissals, departmental training, task delegation, communicating job expectations, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and scheduling as per store policy and procedures and applicable laws
- Creates a positive environment amongst department employees; motivates staff to take responsibility and to make decisions based on experience; ensures all pertinent information is shared with staff in a timely and appropriate manner
- Collaboration with external suppliers to source quotes, and ensure accurate and timely production of deliverables from agencies, graphic designers, editors, talent, printers and designers
- _Perform any other job-related and/or managerial tasks at the discretion of the Operations Manager_

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- 2-4 years of relevant marketing and advertising experience
- College level Diploma in Marketing and Advertising is preferred
- Retail marketing experience an asset
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Have outstanding branding, messaging, media relations, social and content marketing skills

Pay: $56,500.00-$60,000.00 per year
