Summary:
**We are looking to hire a Casual Recruitment Analyst to help our Recruitment Team, full time hours for 6 months in duration.**

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Recruitment the Recruitment Analyst supports the external recruitment process for Providence Health Care. The position provides an integrated range of services to support the Talent Recruitment team. The Analyst completes reference-checking qualified applicants, coordinating pre-employment testing, and maintaining and reporting data concerning external recruitment and supports onboarding processes. Provides support for recruitment activities and projects like organizing and attending career fairs. Prepares, processes, and records documentation and statistical information as required.

Qualifications / Skills and Education:
**Education, Training and Experience**
Diploma in Human Resources Management plus two (2) years of related experience in a large and complex organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to utilize both verbal and written communication skills to obtain information and provide routine information in verbal, written and electronic formats.
- Ability to listen including proven interviewing skills.
- Ability to gather and document information accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands and complete projects.
- An aptitude for generating statistics and summarizing data.
- Broad knowledge of best recruiting practices and an aptitude for marketing.
- Skilled computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet and database programs, such as MS Word, Excel and Access, is required.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Schedules and administers pre-employment reference checks for prospective new hires. Keeps record of all reference checks and escalates as needed to Talent Recruitment Advisor
- Schedules and administers specific pre-employment testing if applicable. Creates quarterly reports highlighting testing trends that impact the recruitment process, e.g., volume, passing rates, and pass rates correlated to hire rates.
- Processes, tracks and follows up on a variety of documentation related to items such as relocation expenses, confirming credentials such as registration/licensure status with professional associations and colleges.
- Provides clerical and administrative support to the Recruitment team, such as file management, invoicing, and recording of meeting notes.
- Coordinates New Employee Orientation, by overseeing registration of new employees, ensuring completion of the in-person and on-line portions of the course, and other duties as needed to support participation by new employees. Tracks and administers the employee referral program
- Identifies potential job fairs and meetings to attend and outlines the merits of attending such events. Assists with career fairs by coordinating presentation and display materials, and representing PHC by hosting a recruitment booth/table.
- Orders and maintains promotional materials for careers fairs and other events.
- Assists with advertising job opportunities by posting job descriptions on select media platforms. Identifies potential sites on which to advertise. Tracks the effectiveness and impact of advertising dollars spent
- Assists Recruiting Advisors with creating interview guides and selection plan spreadsheets for internal and external positions
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
