**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including cakes, pastries, cookies, and breads according to established recipes.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair while adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items.
- Ensure all food handling and safety practices are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment used in food preparation.
**Skills**
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role within a restaurant or bakery setting.
- Strong knowledge of cake decorating techniques and pastry presentation.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating visually appealing desserts.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in food preparation and cooking within the food industry is highly desirable.
