**JOB DESCRIPTION: DIRECTOR OF FINANCE**

The Director of Finance at Aspire will lead the financial operations and drive business performance. Based in London, Ontario, this role will oversee finance strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and the deployment of an ERP system, ensuring alignment with Aspire’s growth objectives.

**SHIFT STRUCTURE**:This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule. Flexibility is required to accommodate meetings, events, and urgent matters that may arise outside of regular working hours.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead the strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Build and deploy financial systems, including an ERP platform.
- Drive business results by analyzing financial performance, managing cash flow, and optimizing programs to control inventory.
- Provide strategic financial leadership to support business initiatives (supply chain strategy, pricing, margin enhancements, etc.).
- Prepare and deliver executive-level financial presentations and reports.
- Oversee the development of business models, return on investment (ROI) projections, and identify risks/opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to drive corporate strategy.
- Ensure compliance with legislative and financial controls; audit and evaluate processes to optimize efficiencies.
- Provide financial guidance to department heads, conducting monthly budget-to-actual presentations.
- Lead the Capital Approval process and manage the stock options program.
- Responsible for month end closure processes.
- Developing Finance Team members and managing performance.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Post-secondary degree in Business Management, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- CPA designation or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, administration, and corporate services.
- Strong financial management skills with experience in ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, ERP, and payroll systems.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $31.98-$71.59 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
