Vancouver Whitecaps FC is looking for a new team member to join our Ticketing Sales department in the position of **Manager, Membership Sales.**

The **Manager, Membership Sales** will manage, lead, and cultivate a high-performance sales team and culture. This leadership position will be responsible for the creation and execution of strategic and innovative sales campaigns and the development of new product offerings. The Manager, Membership Sales will optimize new sales revenue opportunities while stimulating organizational growth through on-going sales training, people management, and lead conversion optimization.

**Specific Job Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Lead and cultivate a positive sales culture in a competitive environment that supports the ongoing development of the membership sales team.
- Generate new business revenue by proactively planning for and selling Whitecaps FC Ticket offerings, including full season memberships and partial season flex products (flex pass & match packs).
- Develop and implement an effective strategic sales plan complete with creative and innovative programming and campaigns that aim to exceed ticket sales & revenue targets.
- Build meaningful and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders that result in continued growth momentum for the organization.
- Work closely alongside the ticketing operations and business intelligence teams to analyze data, gain insights, inform the sales process, further customize ticket product offerings, and identify specific target audiences.
- Explore alternate technology and tools to enhance overall sales results.
- Develop and complete ticket sales & revenue target setting, KPIs, quarterly reviews, and action plans to proactively respond to sales results & trends.
- Monitor and manage CRM adoption rate, database entries, automated & optimal lead distribution, pipeline management, forecasting reports, sales campaign tracking, and conversion rates.
- Ensure a smooth transition of new Season Ticket Members from the Sales team to the Fan Relations & Premium Services team.
- Lead team in actively pursuing sales opportunities through creative sales techniques and networking opportunities that generate net new prospects.
- Assist in developing strategic product, benefit, and pricing plans seasonally.
- Develop a high-performing sales culture with emphasis on achieving results in a team first, collaborative environment.
- Support, Encourage, & Empower Account Executives to achieve individual, departmental, and overall company objectives.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- 5+ years’ experience in a sales role, preferably in the sports industry.
- People management and leadership preferred.
- Post-Secondary education within a business, marketing, or related discipline.
- Experience in Ticketing and Archtics would be considered an asset.
- CRM/Salesforce knowledge is a necessity.
- Strong business acumen and proven people management skills
- Competitive, passionate, personable, positive, and outgoing.
- Must have the ability to:

- Deliver results and exceed expectations while working collaboratively with others.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Present ideas/concepts creatively and succinctly.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be flexible and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC is the longest-running professional soccer club in Canada and the United States. Since its inaugural season in 1974, the club has united generations of loyal fans in British Columbia and beyond.
