**Full-Time Term**

**Position Summary**

Under the direction of the Jordan’s Principle Program Manager, the Receptionist will provide administrative office support in the day-to-day operations of the Jordan’s Principle Off Reserve Service Delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to the office when required.
- Handling a high volume of telephone inquiries, recording, and taking messages.
- Handle initial contacts by telephone, in-person from the public.
- Provide support to the administrative team when required.
- Maintaining client lists.
- Faxing and photocopying.
- Inventory of office supplies and electronics.
- Maintaining electronic records of services provided.
- Data entry.
- Provide data required for reporting purposes.
- Assist with the development of internal processes.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

**Education & Experience**
- Grade 12 education required. Receptionist/Secretary certificate or equivalent three to five years of secretarial experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and a minimum of two years (2) years of customer service or related experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment that involves communicating with the public in-person.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work co-operatively as a part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Superior verbal, listening written and inter-personal communication skills.
- Demonstrates problem solving, time management and organization skills.
- Knowledge of Jordan’s Principle and the services that is provided to First Nation children and youth.
- Knowledge of First Nation culture, traditions, attitudes, and socio-economic conditions.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of First Nations culture and fluent in a First Nations language would be an asset.
- Adhere to AMC policies, and procedures with specific attention to attendance, and professional ethics.
- Must have a current satisfactory Criminal Record Check, and Clear Child Abuse Check.
