Full Time Temporary Educational Assistants
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School is a Grade 5 to 8 School
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in Spruce Grove, AB is currently seeking Educational Assistants to assist students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs.
The assignment is to begin August 23, 2024 and end June 27, 2025 of the 2024-2025 school year.
Salary range $18.98 - $26.83 hourly as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.
Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
Experience working with students with diverse needs
Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets
