Full Time Temporary Educational Assistants

Evergreen Catholic Separate School Division is seeking experienced Educational Assistants for a full-time temporary contract for the 2024-25 school year.

St. Peter the Apostle Catholic High Schol serves just over 1100 students in Spruce Grove, AB. Educational Assistants provide support to students with diverse academic and social/ emotional needs. Passion to help students reach their full potential, strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

The position will commence August 26, 2024 and end June 27, 2025 of the 2024-2025 school year.

Salary range $18.98 - $26.83 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications:

Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices

Experience working with students with diverse needs

English as Additional Language learners

Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect

Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training

Mental Health First Aid or equivalent

Diploma in child/youth care or Educational Assistant Certificate
