Full Time or Part Time Temporary Educational Assistant

St. Marguerite Catholic School is a Kindergarten to Grade 4 School

St. Marguerite Catholic School in Spruce Grove, AB is currently seeking an Educational Assistant to assist students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs. Strong organizational and intrapersonal skills are an asset.

The assignment is for a full time or part time Educational Assistant commencing February 20, 2024 and ends June 28, 2024 of the 2023-2024 school year.

Salary range $18.90 - $ 26.83 per hour as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices

Experience working with students with diverse needs

Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect

Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments (SIVA) training

Mental Health First Aid or equivalent

Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets
