**STUART AND HILL CONSTRUCTION**

Stuart and Hill Construction, is a general contracting company offering construction services for the residential and commercial markets. We service the Simcoe/Muskoka region. We are looking for an organized administrative assistant with a background in construction to join our growing team Worksites are across Simcoe. We offer competitive compensation based on previous applicable experience.

**ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT**

**RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING**:

- Answer telephone and relay phone calls and messages
- Assist in preparing project-related documents.
- Compile data, statistics and other information as required
- Set up and maintain computerized information filing systems
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
- Support management of vendors, purchase orders, contracts etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of projects and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Provide administrative support during project planning and execution phases.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including project coordination, order entry, and proofreading.
- Provide support in research, development and establishment of policies and procedures
- Ability to arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, training sessions
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Utilize Google Suite to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS**:

- High school diploma with over 3-5 years relevant experience; post-secondary degree considered an asset
- Proficient in English: verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Accurate and detail-orientated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information
- Ability to prioritize and manage own workflow to ensure quality and efficiency
- Ability to create, edit, proofread, and format documents/presentations with appropriate due diligence ensuring accuracy and deadlines
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Proficient in various Microsoft Office Suites and Google Suites.
