Coordinator of Intake and Clinical Administration

**Status**:
Temporary Full-Time, 35 paid hours per week

**Contract Duration**:
10 weeks

**Schedule**:
Primary schedule will be 9a-5p, Monday through Friday with the ability to work a flexible schedule as required (one-hour unpaid lunch)

**Duties and Requirements**:
Support the Clinical Administration Team in providing comprehensive administrative, clerical and general office support, utilizing specific knowledge of medical office procedures and statistical data collection management.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to proactively support the operational needs of Hospice patient and family services.

Provide flexibility to ensure back-up support for all Hospice administrative support needs of patient and family service operations. Personnel will be assigned to work in all roles in order to maintain flexibility and competence. While a main role will be assigned, the need to ensure cross-coverage is a priority.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent keyboarding skills.
- Abide confidentiality following PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act) guidelines.
- An understanding of healthcare billing through MOHLTC (Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care-OHIP)
- Willingness to work a non-traditional and flexible schedule.
- Strong administrative, organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Bilingual French /English an asset.
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle time sensitive situations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

**Education**:

- Working towards Office Administration-Health Services two (2) year diploma preferred
- Experiential knowledge of community services and resources is preferred.
