**THE ROLE**
The Member Experience and Marketing group is made up of a team of marketers, communicators, digital experience specialists, customer service providers, creative designers and translators who are focused on creating the ideal member and employee experience. Our team manages all facets of communications, including internal and corporate communications, marketing, membership services, and stakeholder relations. As trusted and highly valued professionals within the organization, the team provides support to CFMWS’ divisions and local business units on Canadian Armed Forces Bases/Wings across Canada and abroad.

In this role, you will own the development and execution of internal communications strategies to create an inspiring employee experience that helps us to build a vibrant and diverse culture and cultivate a clear understanding of and connection to our mission, goals, strategy, and the success of our social enterprise. You will design, build, and roll out engaging employee communications programs that support our employees’ wellbeing and increase awareness, understanding and foster a deep emotional connection to our vision and mission. You will also help to bring out meaning in what our people do, by finding and developing compelling narratives and well-rounded campaigns that deeply resonate with employees' strong sense of duty and purpose in serving those who serve.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

College diploma or certificate in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field and several years of experience in communications or a related field

**Experience**

In managing, developing, and executing internal communication plans

In producing a wide range of communication products

In developing and implementing social media campaigns

In writing social media content

In writing and updating web content

In preparing reports, updates, analysis and evaluation of communication strategies and tactics

In budget administration

In personnel administration

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English or French Essential, Bilingual an asset

Reading: Advanced Level

Writing: Functional Level

Oral: Advanced Level

This position has an assigned location and may allow flexible work options such as remote or hybrid work but the employee must be able to report to the assigned work location at their own cost if required. Remote work may be required depending on health and safety considerations.
