Ensuring a continuous process of on-site quality control, our manufacturing process is efficient and precise.

We have integrated our customized solutions into a variety of different workplace environments, all with a focus on safety, while keeping production efficiency in mind.

**Advanced Paper Systems (APS)**

APS offers innovative solutions to all paper and pulp machine threading, cross machine tail cutters, rope diverter and sheet breaker projects. Our equipment can effectively manage all machine speeds and paper grades.

Successful threading requires three key steps: cut, control and transfer. Our equipment is world-renowned because of our ability to reliably achieve each of these stages. Each system is custom designed to fit into the unique geometry and meet the requirements of the mill’s paper machine (position, product and speed). Customers come back to us time and time again because of the quality of the equipment we design and manufacture.

As a **_Technical Sales Executive_**, you will be part of a sales team that takes care of North American and International Customers in the Pulp & Paper Industry. You will report to the Technical Sales Manager and set up meetings with customers, identify customer needs and requirements and recommend solutions, and prepare and present technical proposals.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Occasional travel within North America is required to meet with customers and present our solutions.

**Main Duties**:

- Ownership of technical sales opportunities through all phases of the sales cycle.
- Build excellent rapport with existing customers and develop new business opportunities.
- Identify customer needs and requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Gather and review technical information, and prepare proposals, drawings, and specifications.
- Present and promote commercial and technical proposals to our customers.
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions in contracts.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 2-year diploma (technologist/technician), 4-year degree or relevant work experience.
- Minimum 2 years mechanical design experience in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Paper machine experience is a plus.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly, listen to the feedback of customers - and relay this to colleagues.
- Ability to understand and explain our technical portfolio and technical systems.
- Teamwork skills.
- Negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Training will be provided for this position along with ongoing mentoring and professional development.
