Toronto, Canada The Elusive Fox Inc. Full time

We are seeking a canny, level-headed fox to independently assist and manage the daily operation of our client’s busy commercial real estate team by focusing on the administrative side of the practice. If you are a master multitasker who can manage competing priorities with ease, we want to speak to you.

**What you will be doing**:

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to lawyers, including conflict checks, opening and closing files, drafting routine correspondence, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, facilitating wire transfers, cheque requisitions, etc.
- Manage documents relating to commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint venture transactions, etc.
- Draft requisition letters and responses, prepare off-title inquiry letters, conduct and review all title and off-title searches, etc.
- Track critical dates and initiate follow-up action as required.
- Liaise with clients, lawyers, financial institutions, land registry offices, title insurance companies, and various governmental agencies.
- Assist with docketing and invoice processing.

**What we need you to bring to the position**:

- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience gained as a Legal Assistant preferably in commercial real estate law.
- Completion of post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
- Proficient in Conveyancer and Teraview.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Legal Assistant (preferably in commercial real estate law): 3 years (required)
