An International Corporate Law Firm specializing in business law.Recognized in the 2023 edition of Lexpert.Office conveniently located in Toronto’s Financial District Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide legal administrative support to two Partners within busy firm;- Prepare legal documents from written, oral and taped instructions and precedents;- Draft cover letters and routine correspondence;- Liaise information and instructions from clients to lawyers;- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel for lawyers;- Assist with docketing and billing;- Managing bring forward system and keeping lawyer apprised of matters in office/remote;- Open / close / maintain legal files; and- Assist with other administrative duties as needed. Requirements:- 4+ years of Corporate legal administrative experience working in a law firm;- Diploma in Legal Administration from an accredited institution;- Experience in legal billing and/or would be a big asset here- Understanding of Corporate legal terminology and applicable statutes;- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
