Personal In-house Sales Executive

As a member of the Personal Lines team the Sales Executive is responsible for triaging, underwriting and selling group home and auto insurance leads which are generated by various WAVE Insurance marketing strategies to achieve company personal sales targets. As a key part of our team, you will provide prompt, accurate and professional service to your clients and work with company personnel to maintain and grow a designated portfolio of new business and clientele.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Providing advice and counsel to your clients to maintain comprehensive and competitively priced coverage;
- Evaluate clients current insurance program needs and proactively offer alternatives based on coverage and price;
- Ensuring all data, necessary forms and documents are compliant and up-to-date per insurance company partner guidelines with an attention to detail.
- Remain current on coverage, forms and rates to effectively address client's insurance needs.
- Processing payments and managing client and company invoicing on new business.
- Liaising with company underwriters, billing departments, and our existing team to manage your portfolio on an ongoing basis.
- Round out mono line accounts by offering quotes for additional lines of business as required.
- Make referrals to group life and health benefits divisions of WAVE Insurance Group.
- Possess a true “sales” mentality with an outgoing personality and desire to place new business with a sense of urgency.

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES**
- Adept at managing multiple deadlines and setting priorities
- Strong command of the English language
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills necessary to provide information in a courteous and comprehensible fashion (oral and written)
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5 years insurance industry or related administrative experience
- 3-5 years of sales experience
- Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Broker, DocuSign and Adobe Pro
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members for problem-solving;
- Solid understanding of policy wordings/coverage’s
- RIBO License required
- CAIB/CIP or CRM would be an asset

**HOURS/SCHEDULE**
- Typically 8:30am-5pm, Monday - Friday depending on business needs.
- Flexible schedule allowed with consent of your Reporting Manager.
- Role includes a hybrid work option with in office for meetings, special events and team building and customer facing events.
- The Sales Executive is responsible to be online and accountable during core business hours to promptly respond to incoming leads for new quotes and customer service.

- Occasionally required to walk one or more flights of stairs.

- Work is primarily office time, but may consist of occasional travel and community business events.
- Extended hours are occasionally required beyond the regular eight (8) hour work day.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Powerbroker: 1 year (preferred)
- Insurance sales: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RIBO License (required)
