Pacific Coast Heavy Truck Group is British Columbia’s premier Mack / Volvo Truck dealer and we are experiencing remarkable growth. We have 9 locations throughout BC and now 2 new locations in Manitoba.

Our sales and market expansion bring us to a search for a MACK Truck Sales Manager to join our team in Langley. This is a great opportunity for an experienced person to plan and direct the truck marketing activities of the dealership group overall, taking responsibility for the profitability of the department. This position reports directly to the President.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct and coordinate all activities of the MACK Truck Department in accomplishing objectives and defined sales goals
- Develop sales and marketing programs to achieve specific sales and net profit target based on current market conditions
- Evaluate the MACK Truck Department performance against established targets and standards and take appropriate action as necessary
- Control new truck inventory turns and gross profit, through analyzation of market potential for both retail and wholesale
- Coach and develop MACK sales personnel to ensure objectives are met
- Assists in selling efforts where necessary
- Become proficient in all MACK OEM sales systems and software tools.
- Become proficient in dealership resource and inventory management systems.
- Establish and maintain satisfactory relations with OEM partners, allied dealers, and internal dealership departments.
- Maintain inventory levels to support the MACK Sales Department
- Oversee the care, control, receipt and disposal of all MACK inventory.
- Oversee all costs affecting new truck inventory, including local costs added to inventory after factory production.
- Support with other Sales Management goals and objectives as required

**What we are looking for**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ related experience is required
- Knowledge of the wholesale/retail market is required
- Experience in Truck sales is strongly preferred
- Post-secondary education in sales and marketing is preferred
- Understanding and experience with social media marketing is required
- Some travel will be required to review potential purchases, attend training courses or meetings, evaluate existing inventory, or meet with current and potential customers
- Commercial Driver’s License (or ability to obtain) is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Strong team player and demonstrated leadership abilities
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion and to be entrusted with confidential information
