Sales and Leasing Manager

The Driving Force Inc. is hiring a Sales and Leasing Manager. The Sales and Leasing Manager will be responsible for all vehicle sales and leasing functions at the branch level and ensure short term and long-term success is aligned with The Driving Force Group of Companies (TDFG’s) business strategy, core values, vision, and overall philosophy.

**What you'll do**:
Customer Relations
- Manage and document all leads and customer communication in the company CRM system
- Review expiring leases and ensure all customers are engaged in the determination of an exit plan no less than 3 months prior to expiry. Turnover to Sales and Leasing Consultant or Financial Services Manager, as required
- Actively work with the sales and leasing team to drive more online reviews through sites such as Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc.
- Customer complaints are to be resolved, documented, and root cause identified (using CAR system) in an efficient and timely manner
- Forward all negative customer feedback to Marketing to manage social media
- Plan and/or participate in customer loyalty functions and networking activities
- Review and share customer feedback surveys with the team and action as appropriate
- Manage warranty reserve fund to address customer warranty issues
Sales & Leasing Process
- Distribute and track leads using the company CRM system
- Meet clients and provide secondary negotiation and closing as needed
- Work with the Sales and Leasing Consultants to source new or factory order vehicle(s) as required for the client
- Review and approve sales worksheets within company sales system
- Work with Sales & Leasing Consultants and Financial Services Managers to structure deals and provide a proper turnover for financing
- Review and approve leases using lease metric guidelines
- Evaluate trades utilizing the company policies and procedures
- Commission (desk) sales and lease deals and send to accounting
- Approve lease structures including capital costs, terms and residuals
- Manage the lease portfolio including expiring leases, lease returns, terminations and renewals
- Ensure ISO compliance
Human Resources
- Assist in the recruitment for potential new sales and leasing employees
- Ensuring regular performance reviews of sales and leasing employees are conducted as per company performance management program
- Ensure employees are appropriately licensed as per provincial requirements and verify renewals
- Work with the Branch Manager to ensure appropriate vacation coverage
Inventory control
- Maintain aging within company accepted parameters
- Oversee the reconditioning process for sales vehicles and ensure the vehicle are reconditioned as per the company’s certified used vehicles standards
- Liaise with other Sales & Leasing Managers to share used inventory within TDFI policies (open border)
- Engage the company’s Wholesale department for wholesale disposal, as per company guidelines
Sales Marketing
- Ensure the target number of inventory is web visible at all times, according to company marketing standards and processes
- Regularly review market values, utilizing guidance from all available internal and external sources and price vehicles accordingly
- Collaborate with Marketing and the Branch Manager on specific marketing needs
- Ensure the showroom and sales lot is maintained within company set standards
- Physically market vehicles by keeping them clean, organized, accessible and decaled in accordance with company standards
- Maintain a high level of Customer Service Index (CSI) through internal and external review sources
- Review and share customer feedback surveys with the team and action as appropriate
- Manage warranty reserve fund to address customer warranty issues
- Oversee the reconditioning process for Lease vehicles and ensure the vehicle are reconditioned as per the company’s policy standards
Budgeting and Planning
- Assist the Branch Manager in creating the Sales and Leasing department annual budget
- Review monthly sales and leasing targets and establish specific targets for each member of the sales and leasing team
- Conduct regular weekly progress meetings with the sale
