This is an opportunity to join our **Claims **team as a **Summer Student Intern/Co-op**

This is an opportunity to join our **Claims** team as a Claims Assistant for the Summer 2023 term. **What you'll do here**:

- Review statistical information provided from our preferred vendors
- Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
- Sending documents/issuing payments that have been approved by adjusters on files handled by Adjusters
- File reassignments will occur as support changes from outside resources
- Provide support in a variety of capacities including but not limited to updating claim files
- Provide clear and concise information to our customers
- Assistance with contents evaluation and ongoing customer service touch points
- Other Administration support as required

**What you bring to the table**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or college diploma
- Available to work with us for Summer (May to August) 2023
- Must be returning to full time studies in Fall 2023 following the internship
- Solid business and financial acumen
- Strong customer service orientation, organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to learn quickly while also having strong attention to detail
- Ability to learn new computer systems and programs quickly
- Demonstrates initiative and independence in carrying out multiple tasks, as well as strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
