Virtek have a dominant product position in the aerospace, prefabrication construction and industrial fabrication markets.

**_ Role:_** Acting as a key part of the sales team, this position is responsible for solution-based products and services to the Pre-Fabricated Construction Industry. They will be accountable for achieving aggressive targets for revenue, gross margin, and operating profit, as well as helping launch new products to the market. This position will require significant travel primarily within North America.

**_ Performance Profile:_**
- Be a ‘self starter’ who enjoys the hunt for new businesses to build a pipeline.
- Have a clear understanding of how to build and execute a territory plan.
- Know how to ask the right questions and listen to customers to identify opportunities.
- Have the patience to manage long and short, complex sales cycles while remaining focused on closing the deal.
- Know how to fully qualify opportunities and educate Strategic Partners.
- Educate themselves to understand Virtek product solutions, as well as, the Pre-Fabricated Construction Market; it’s challenges, drivers and initiatives

**_ Responsibilities include:_**
- Achieving personal annual sales and gross margin quotas.
- Developing strong customer relationships, both with Partners and Prospects directly. Cultivating relationships to ensure long-term customer retention and future sales opportunities.
- Providing detailed reporting to the Director on both prospects and customers and managing a sales pipeline for accurate forecasting of revenue.
- Supporting the Director in the development of budgets for sales region.
- Supporting the sales-related efforts of Product Management by providing industry information, supporting product launches etc.
- Representing the Company at relevant industry exhibitions and present new product opportunities as scheduled for release; participate in product demonstrations as required.
- Participating in regularly scheduled sales meetings.

**_ Qualifications & Skills:_**
- University Degree/College Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of outside sales experience in consultative/solution selling environment.
- Strong general business acumen and the ability to operate autonomously with a Hunter sales mentality.
- Proven experience with forecasting and budgeting for respective regions.
- Highly developed skills in prospecting, cold calling, objection handling and closing skills.
- Experience with contract negotiation and review (RFP, RFQ, etc.).
- Preferred experience with the following markets: Construction & Prefabricated Construction industry (Manufacturing), Manufacturing Automation Industry.
- Self-managing/motivated and personal discipline skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal / written communication and presentation skills.
- Intermediate/advanced IT skills:

- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Quoting tools
