Brampton, Canada Global Pet Foods Full time

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversees day-to-day operations on the brand's social media presence, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, & TikTok (and other platforms as they are adopted).
- Creates consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including social media posts & stories, videos, improving customer engagement, contesting, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Creates and maintains a Social Media Marketing editorial calendar for the national Global Pet Foods pages as well as the corporate Global Pet Foods store pages.
- Develops, edits, proofs and publishes a variety of internal and external content including but not limited to videos, blogs, websites, social media, and other correspondence.
- Manages the Social media community including; Monitoring customer comments, messages etc, monitoring user-generated content and engaging customers about using their content should it fit within the editorial calendar, monitoring and activating online influencers and brand enthusiasts
- Collaborates with other departments to manage online reputation and resolve customer issues.
- Routinely reports on, analyzes, and draws insights from all social network activity, following specific KPIs to track and enhance social media performance.
- Supports stores with social media related issues and creative development.
- Supports corporate store locations with social media content and ongoing support.

**Experience, Education, Certifications**:

- 2 years’ experience in Social Media, Online Community Management or Digital Marketing
- Post-secondary education, Marketing preferred
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be best utilized in different scenarios.
- Direct experience working with social analytic tools
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
- Adobe Creative Suite Experience (specifically Photoshop/Illustrator for content creation)
- Knowledge of pet industry an asset
