**What your role will be responsible for**:

- Crafting Winning Strategies with Director of Sales to exceed sales objectives with new and existing customers. Your insights will help shape our approach
- Deep diving into understanding client requirements, identifying golden opportunities within the rich tapestry of Embassy Ingredients’ portfolio
- Hitting the road to meet clients, attend exciting tradeshows, and showcase our delectable offerings, overnight travel is part of the adventure.
- Immersing yourself in the delicious world of our bakery and flavor products, ensuring top-notch customer service and technical support that delights every client.
- Keeping our CRM updated with precision, ensuring seamless communication with internal teams, every detail matters.
- Conducting thorough weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer account reviews to ensure you’re on track to crush your goals.
- Achieving your budget targets and recalibrating when needed to ensure success.
- Keeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends and the ever-evolving economic landscape through regular exploration of industry publications.
- Supporting our R&D labs, food safety initiatives and Quality teams to exceed customer expectations.

**What you need to bring to Embassy**:

- 5+ years of proven experience and success within business development or key account management.
- College diploma or university degree in business or related experience an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- You thrive under pressure, working efficiently and effectively with a proactive mindset.
- You excel at nurturing and expanding relationships with key accounts, turning opportunities into success stories.
- Strong business acumen, decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence various audiences at all business levels.
- You’re ready to adapt your schedule to seize opportunities when they arise.
