Full Time Front of House Supervisor

**Job Summary**
To provide support for and in the absence of the Food Service Manager, the Food Services Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and training of primarily Front House staff, in addition to the preparation, quality assurance, compliance with organic standards, and profitability of all menu items.
**Job Duties**
At the discretion of the Food Service Manager, duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising, prioritizing and delegating tasks for all Front House staff to ensure correct department prep, serving, and customer service methods and procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service when in contact with customers or other staff.
- In order to adhere to food health and safety standards, maintain a clean and safe work area and ensure proper cleaning of Front House equipment.
- Handles and trains other staff to clean Front House equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks in kitchen layout and food prep.
- Works efficiently and effectively with other staff members to uphold organic standards while producing and serving the highest quality food items.
- Understand and observe all policies & procedures with regards to operations, health & safety, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Any other job related duties assigned by the Food Services Manager.
**Experience/Skills/Attributes Required**:
- Minimum 1 year of previous hospitality or food-related customer service experience.
- Supervisory/management experience an asset.
- Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast paced food service environment.
- Must be available evenings and weekends.
