**Title**:Senior Education and Outreach Specialist, Cultural Safety and Humility in primary care.
**Contract**:Three year term.
**Hours**:37.5 hours per week. (Core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri).
**Location**:Remote/Anywhere in B.C.

**About the role**
- As Senior Education and Outreach Specialist, you will:

- Develop concrete cultural safety and anti-Indigenous racism implementation tools for primary and community care centres.
- Work with a provincial leadership team focused on systems level change in CSH / AIR.
- Work focused on point of care interactions which can directly impact the care Indigenous people are receiving - meaning the impact of this work can be huge.
- Collaborative and supportive work environment that can connect with other CSH teams within FNHA.

**About you**
- To be successful in this role you will have/be:

- A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (health administration, policy, business, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Firm grasp on Cultural Safety and Humility best practices and relevant certifications.
- Training and experience in advancing cultural safety and humility, and/or equity and diversity inclusion.
- Existing relationships in the Health Care System and MOH and other organizations is an asset.
- Previous Clinical background and clinical education experience is an asset.

You may have experience in:

- Educational materials development (Health Sector background is an asset).
- Public speaking, facilitation of workshops and delivery of educational materials.
- Working with First Nations people and communities.
- Creating project documents, and preparing briefing notes and various documentation for senior executives when needed.
