This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. The amount of time required to work at a TCHC work location is flexible, while considering operational and service delivery requirements.

As a Program Coordinator you will oversee the delivery of energy, water and waste conservation programs in TCHC communities across the City. You will work with residents, building staff and community partners to promote the program to achieve sustainable behavior change and monitor results. It involves supporting the development of educational and outreach materials, facilitating workshops and building partnerships to ensure effective delivery of the program.

**What you’ll do**
- Work with Managers, Senior Supervisors and tenants to develop and implement energy and water conservation, waste reduction engagement projects including delivery of reports on activities, surveys and other components of community engagement by Senior Capital Program Assistants.
- Responsible for surveying (including assisting to develop survey and tracking mechanisms) and information collection in each community.
- Oversee the surveying process and provides direction to staff on the collection and compilation of data.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, building staff and community partners.
- Organize and facilitate training workshops and information sessions.
- Oversee meeting logistics including promotion, room set up, food and supplies and minute-taking.
- Develop educational resources.
- Prepares pre-approval orders and invoices related to program activities for their Manager, or designate.
- Completes administrative forms and reports
- Other related duties as required.

**What you’ll need**
- A related post-secondary degree/diploma or working towards completion of degree/diploma, or other related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Courses or certification in any of the following areas would be considered an asset: energy management, water conservation, waste management, building systems, group facilitation, journalism and/or communications,
- Knowledge of energy and water conservation and waste reduction principles and practices
- Knowledge of Toronto Community Housing communities and/or experience working in a culturally diverse environment
- Experience developing and implementing community education and engagement programs and events
- Ability to build partnerships with diverse community organizations and stakeholders
- Experience organizing and facilitating workshops and training programs
- Proven ability to conduct effective, innovative outreach that meets the needs of individual communities
- Experience supervising and managing staff and volunteers
- Strong organizational and administrative skills (including keeping and reconciling inventory, logistics)
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service, innovation and creativity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in use of Word, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to work a flexible work week inclusive of weekends and evenin
