**A Day in the Life**

As Administrative Assistant, you will report to and work closely with the Admin Coordinator and will be responsible for owning all-things admin. From coordinating internal and external communications to helping out with campaigns and projects, you’ll get to experience a bit of everything Here’s what you can expect to dig into in this exciting, hands-on role:

- Provide support to your team in various ways including data entry, preparing for meetings, coordinating events, writing content for external and internal communications, overseeing reception and its associated tasks, and much more
- Respond to telephone inquiries, collect and distribute mail, schedule meetings, provide back-up support to reception in other areas of the organization, as required.
- Liaise between employers, suppliers, members, and others - you help connect all the dots
- Share and implement ideas to optimize your team’s time and company processes to set UFCW 1518 up for success.
- Contribute to and help foster a collaborative and team-building environment through open communication, building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues.

**What You Bring to the Table**
- A high school diploma or equivalent with at least 1-2 years of work-related office or administrative experience supporting a team.
- A positive energy with a can-do attitude - you’re always ready to jump in and support where you can
- You’re not afraid to ask questions and don’t shy away from learning - in fact, you embrace it
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft software (including Word, Excel, Adobe, and SharePoint) and stellar computer literacy skills.
- Superior organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills - you’re always on your “A” game
- Exceptional attention to detail
- nothing gets past you

**It’s a Bonus If You**
- Have experience providing administrative support to executives.
- Are multilingual and can speak and/or write in more than one language.
