**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

The six health-partners in the South East region recognize that to achieve person centered, effective care coordination across the system, enhance the ability to make best use of collective resources, achieve more system-like behavior, and have the agility to address future funding changes, a major, system-wide clinical transformation is needed. This clinical transformation will meet clinical information needs of both the health-partners and the region. Lumeo, a regional Health Information System will support the “
_one standard of care and journey for the people we serve”_ vision identified by the partners’ clinical leadership. This program opportunity will enable the sharing of information seamlessly across the six health-partners, connecting the personal health information into a single cohesive story and reducing the variability of care provided.

The Regional HIS Training Specialist is responsible for developing learning material under the advisory of Oracle-Cerner and the Lumeo Training and Education Lead, as well as being responsible for Learning Management System admin and support for stakeholders across all Regional HIS partners under the direction of the Regional HIS Transformation and Adoption Director.

Within this role the employee is accountable for contributing to the delivery of the Regional Health Information System (RHIS) strategy. As an employee, one must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for actively promoting and supporting patient and family centered engagement and care in all we do.

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES INCLUDE**:
- Learning Material Development/ Instructional Design-
- Overall Management of Learning Management System-
- Implementing Regional Education and Training Strategy: Train the Trainer Training and Command Centre oversight-
- Training evaluations and compliance-
- Team Development Program- NOTE - The above duties are representative but are not to be construed as all-inclusive._

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business Administration, Office Administration or Adult Education, or equivalent related experience.-
- Graduate degree in education, adult learning, instructional design, educational technology preferred-
- 3-5+ years of training experience-
- The ability to learn new content and leverage that knowledge to develop strong training programs-
- Ability to develop and deliver formal presentations. This includes consistently and clearly presenting scripted training materials to large groups, and to conduct engaging and effective training sessions to diverse audiences and handling questions from the audience-
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely to trainers and trainees when speaking and in writing. This includes targeting the amount, style, and content of the information to the needs of the receiver-
- Ability to adapt and pivot to challenging virtual and in person classroom situations & personalities-
- Excellent prioritization, organizational, and people management skills-
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with little direct supervision and taking ownership of work activities and ensuring training sessions and supporting materials meet standards-
- Working knowledge of common MS-Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)-
- Satisfactory criminal background check with vulnerable sector search**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:
